Autplay Therapy
AutPlay therapy utilizes a neurodiversity-affirming approach to play therapy for neurodivergent children aged 3-18, including those with autism, ADHD, and other developmental differences.
This therapeutic framework addresses mental health and developmental needs through play, enabling children to express themselves and develop social skills in a safe, engaging way. It focuses on enhancing emotional regulation, social interaction, and overall well-being through play-based interventions.
Autplay focuses on a child’s strengths, helps them understand how autism is a part of them, and supports their growth in ways that matter most to them and their family. It does not attempt to 'fix' the child, or make them act in a neurotypical way.
Initial consultation is FREE.
Sessions are $95.

1. We Thinkers!
We Thinkers! by Social Thinking is an engaging and evidence-based social-emotional learning curriculum designed for young children, typically aged 4-7. It focuses on building foundational social competencies by teaching essential concepts like perspective-taking, emotional regulation, problem-solving, and group collaboration.
The program uses engaging stories, activities, and visuals to help children understand social thinking vocabulary and apply these skills in everyday interactions.
This curriculum is particularly beneficial for children with social learning differences, such as those with autism or other developmental differences, but is equally valuable for all young learners.
By fostering social awareness and teaching practical strategies, We Thinkers! empowers children to develop stronger relationships, navigate social situations, and better understand themselves and others.
2. Understanding anxiety for autistic teens
This six-session program is designed to help neurodiverse teens explore and understand the root causes of their anxiety in a supportive and non-judgmental environment. It provides a safe space for open discussions about their anxious feelings while equipping them with practical strategies to navigate challenging times. Through these sessions, teens will gain greater self-awareness, build resilience, and develop tools to manage their anxiety effectively, fostering a sense of empowerment and well-being.
The program was developed by me and has been successfully rolled out across a number of schools in the UK. The intention is for a member of staff at each school to be trained in the program, support the sessions, and eventually take on the leadership role to implement it school-wide. This approach ensures sustainability and allows the program to reach and support as many teens as possible fostering a sense of empowerment and well-being.
3. Understanding the social world for autistic teens
This six-session program is designed to support neurodiverse teens in navigating the social world while celebrating and appreciating their unique social differences. With no expectation for them to change their behavior or conform, the program focuses on helping them understand neurotypical social expectations and making sense of the challenges they may encounter in social situations.
The sessions provide a non-judgmental space where teens can openly discuss their difficulties and differences, fostering a sense of acceptance and understanding. Participants leave with practical strategies to navigate social scenarios and, most importantly, a sense of empowerment to embrace and be confident in their authentic selves.
As with the previous program, the intention is for a member of staff at each school to be trained in the program, support the sessions, and eventually take on the leadership role to implement it school-wide.
